Monitoring and Alerts for Polygon

When you join the Polygon network, you’ll need to set up monitoring to keep track of our home server. We use a combination of tools to make sure everything is running smoothly.

First, you should install our custom dashboard, which gives you a quick overview of all the services and devices connected to the server. It’s important to check the dashboard regularly to ensure nothing is failing or needs attention. If something does go wrong, the dashboard will send an alert to your phone. Make sure to enable the alert notifications so you get a push notification if there’s an issue.

Next, familiarize yourself with the tools used for monitoring. We use a few different tools, but the key is to configure them so that you get notified as soon as there’s a problem. This way, you can help resolve any issues before they become bigger problems. Remember, even though it’s a small setup, we rely on it for a lot of our day-to-day activities, so keeping an eye on it is crucial.
