Scanning Paperwork into the Polygon Document Archive

You've joined the Polygon family and will be contributing to our document archive by scanning important paperwork. To help you get started, here are a few steps to follow:

First, make sure you have a high-quality scanner connected to the Polygon server. We recommend the scanner be set to a resolution of 300 dpi to ensure the scanned documents are clear and legible. Once the scanner is connected, you can use our custom scanning software that is installed on the server. It is located in the Documents > Scanning folder.

When you're ready to scan, find the document or paperwork you need to scan. Ensure it is flat and free of creases or folds that could affect the quality of the scan. Open the scanning software and follow the on-screen instructions to start the scan. Once the document is scanned, the software will automatically save it to the correct folder in our document archive. Make sure to name the file clearly and include relevant keywords in the filename to help with future searches.

Lastly, remember to keep your scanner clean and organize the scanned documents as you scan them. If you have any questions or run into issues, feel free to ask for help from other household members or reach out to the Polygon system administrator. We want to make sure everything is stored securely and easily accessible for everyone.
